The Safety Method

A nervous system-first approach to lasting metabolic change.

Your body is not broken. It is protecting you - with the information and safety signals it has. When your nervous system and metabolism feel threatened, your body shifts into conservation mode. Weight loss and health optimization become physiologically impossible, not a matter of willpower.

The Safety Method works by changing those signals first. Safety before deficit. Foundation before intervention. Biology before guesswork. When your body believes it is safe, it stops holding on - and real, lasting change becomes possible.

Meet the Phenotypes

Your body has a reason it won’t change. One of these is yours.

Most health programs give everyone the same plan based on presenting symptoms and wonder why it works for only a few. The Safety Method starts by identifying your specific biological pattern - then builds everything around it.

  • INSULIN RESISTANT

"I eat well but the weight won't move — especially around my middle."

Blood sugar dysregulation, carb cravings, energy crashes after meals. Your cells have stopped responding to insulin properly — and standard labs rarely catch it early enough.

  • GUT DRIVEN

"My digestion has always been 'off' — I think it's affecting everything else."

Bloating, food sensitivities, poor digestion, mood instability. Your gut drives inflammation, hormone balance, & nutrient absorption. When it's off, everything suffers.

  • INFLAMMATORY

"I'm exhausted all the time and I hurt — but no one can tell me why."

Chronic low-grade inflammation disrupting leptin, cortisol, thyroid, and insulin signaling. Often invisible on a standard panel — but driving everything you feel.

  • HORMONAL

"My hormones feel completely out of control and no one takes it seriously."

Thyroid dysfunction, estrogen dominance, low testosterone, progesterone imbalance. Hormones regulate whether your body will release fat at all — regardless of what you eat.

  • CHRONIC SLEEP/ STRESS

    "I'm always wired and tired. I can't recover. I can't sleep. I can't lose weight - no matter how hard I try."

Cortisol driving fat storage, leptin and ghrelin disrupted by poor sleep, a nervous system locked in threat mode. You cannot out-diet a cortisol problem.

  • MEDICATION-INDUCED

"I've never been the same since starting this medication — but my doctor says it's not related."

Antidepressants, antipsychotics, beta blockers, steroids. Commonly prescribed medications that directly impair metabolism and disrupt hormones.

  • SARCOPENIC

"I've dieted so many times. Each attempt gets harder. I feel like I've broken my metabolism."

Low muscle mass from years of repeated dieting, slowing your resting metabolic rate with every cycle. Each attempt gets harder for a specific physiological reason — not anything you did wrong.

  • HEDONIC

"I know exactly what I should do. I just can't make myself do it. The food noise never stops."

Dopamine-driven eating, reward-seeking patterns, food noise that never quiets. A neurological phenotype — not a character flaw — and it responds to the right clinical approach.

The Phases

Phase
01

STABILIZE

Create the conditions for your body to feel safe enough to change. This is where previous attempts have failed — not because of lack of effort, but because the foundation wasn't built first. We address hydration, nutrition timing, sleep architecture, and nervous system regulation before asking your body to do more.

Phase
02

ACCELERATE

Turn up fat loss systematically — but only because the foundation in Phase 1 makes your body ready to respond. We use your lab data, phenotype, and symptom response to determine exactly which levers to pull, how far, and when. Medications and peptides are introduced here when clinically appropriate.

Phase
03

INTEGRATE

Make change livable for the long term. Define your minimums. Build your relapse plans. Taper interventions where appropriate. Shift your identity from "I'm on a plan" to "this is how I take care of myself." This phase looks different for everyone — and is never forced before you're ready.

Doesn’t this sound better than what you’ve been getting from the healthcare system?

Phases are not rigid timelines.

Some people move through Stabilize in four weeks. Others need twelve. The pace is determined by your biology and your response — not by a calendar. Your provider calibrates the progression based on your labs, your symptoms, and your readiness.

Your Next Step Starts Here

Most programs ask you to commit before you have a single answer. We do it differently.

Everything at Exploring Your Health begins with one thing - knowing what’s actually going on inside your body. Not guessing. Not assuming. Knowing.

Step 1.
The Lab Investigation

Your body has been sending signals.
This is where we learn to read them.

The Lab Investigation is a comprehensive deep-dive into your biology — combining advanced blood work with a full gut microbiome analysis to build a complete picture of what's driving your symptoms. When your results are in, we sit down together for a full Strategy Session to walk through every finding in plain language, identify your metabolic pattern, and outline exactly what your body needs.

You'll leave with real answers, a starting point for lifestyle changes, and an initial supplement protocol — regardless of what you decide to do next.

Some people take that knowledge and run with it on their own. We respect that completely. But most people, once they finally understand what's been happening in their body, realize they don't want to navigate it alone.

Step 2.
The Safety Method

Twenty weeks. One program. Built around your biology.

For those ready to go all in, The Safety Method is our signature 20-week program — a fully guided, clinically supported journey from investigation to transformation. This isn't a meal plan and a check-in call. This is a comprehensive partnership built specifically around your findings.

What's included:

  • Full Strategy Session to map your personalized 20-week protocol

  • 10 coaching sessions (30 minutes each) with your EYH provider

  • Weekly curriculum delivered through your patient portal

  • Secure portal access + direct messaging throughout

  • Supplement bank — curated to your protocol, rolls forward if unused

  • Repeat comprehensive labs at week 20 — blood work + gut microbiome analysis

  • End-of-program Strategy Session to review your results and build your maintenance plan

Add-ons available at a discount for Safety Method patients: GLP Medications · Peptide therapy · Hormones · DUTCH hormone testing · Genetic analysis · Any other Advanced Labs

Medications and peptides are never included by default — they are introduced when clinically appropriate, based on your findings and your response to the program.

Step 3.
Take The Lead

You did the work. You have the answers. Now you own it.

Completing The Safety Method isn't the end — it's the moment everything shifts. You understand your body in a way most people never will. Your symptoms have a name. Your biology has a map. And for the first time, you know exactly what your body needs to stay well.

Take the Lead is our ongoing program for Safety Method graduates — designed to protect what you've built, respond to what your body needs next, and keep you moving forward with confidence. Because thriving isn't a destination. It's a practice.

You spent 20 weeks learning to listen to your body. Take the Lead is where you trust what you hear.

What Take the Lead looks like:

  • Ongoing coaching sessions to keep you accountable and supported

  • Access to EYH Connect for streamlined medication and peptide refills

  • Periodic lab review to stay ahead of shifts before they become symptoms

  • Supplement protocol adjustments as your body evolves

  • Direct messaging and portal access — we're always in your corner

  • A provider who never stops paying attention

This is not a hand-off. This is a graduation into a new relationship with your health — and with us.

You could take your Lab Investigation results and try to piece it together yourself. The internet has no shortage of opinions. But what it doesn't have is the ability to look at your specific pattern — your phenotype, your history, your biology — and build something designed entirely around you. That's what we do. And that's what makes the difference between starting over again in six months and never having to.

Medications and Peptides

The right tool, for your biology.

Not everyone who comes to us needs medication or peptides. Not everyone who needs medication needs a GLP-1. The decision about which — if any — peptide or pharmaceutical belongs in your plan is made by your provider after reviewing your Assessment, your phenotype pattern, and your clinical history.

When we do use medications and peptides, we use them as bridges — not crutches. Every prescription comes with an education on what the medication is doing, why it's appropriate for your phenotype, what results to expect, and what the exit strategy looks like. We don't prescribe and disappear. We prescribe and stay.

Phenotype-matched, not default-prescribed

The peptide that's right for the Hedonic phenotype is different from what's right for the Inflammatory or Hormonal phenotype. We match the intervention to the biology.

Pharmaceutical-grade
sourcing only

All medications are sourced through licensed 503B compounding pharmacies — pharmaceutical-grade, rigorously tested, and medically supervised. Never research-grade or unregulated.

Always with an
exit strategy

Every medication introduced has a defined off-ramp. We never create dependency as an outcome. The goal is always to get your biology working well enough that you need less, not more.

503B Pharmacy Sourcing: All medications dispensed through Exploring Your Health are sourced exclusively from licensed 503B compounding pharmacies — the highest standard available for compounded medications. This is not comparable to research-grade peptides sold online without clinical oversight. Quality, potency, and safety are non-negotiable.
